Forever in love with fairy tales, gothic literature, and the glow of candlelight, I have always dreamed of becoming both a storyteller and an artist.

In 2015, I completed my bachelor's degree in English literature, having abandoned plans to seek out a career in medical sciences and instead followed my passion, leading to a near decade-long career as a library worker. In 2016, I also became a certified aromatherapist, being drawn to the alchemy of botanical ingredients. During my studies, I felt especially drawn to perfumery; Crafting unique scents that have the capability to soothe, inspire, and even transport the mind to realms beyond the ordinary.

After a few years of experimentation and study in my kitchen apothecary, I decided to combine my love of storytelling with my love of aromatic alchemy, and began crafting candles, eventually launching MOON & GLOW in 2020.

Today I am a full-time candlemaker and purveyor of witchy wares, sharing my love of art, antiques, and classic tales through the magic of candles, aromatics oils, and incense. Alongside these fragrant creations, I offer a curated collection of oddities and curiosities available here in my online shop.

My creations are inspired by folklore, mythology, and the enchantingly strange. Whether you seek romantic gothic perfume oils, whimsical witchy candles, or hauntingly beautiful decor to bring a touch of dark academia to your space, you have come to the right place.

A Halloween lover since childhood, I have always been drawn to spooky tales and magical realms. Never growing out of the want to escape to a gothic castle, hide in a hobbit hole, or receive my long-awaited letter to a magical academy in the Scottish Highlands, MOON & GLOW is a love letter to beloved tales and the whimsy we seek in everyday life.

The Craft.

Every candle is carefully designed, crafted, and conjured in my home workshop.

Divination.

Drawing inspiration from the pages of classic literature, folklore, and all things magical or whimsical, I focus on the immersive aspects of each story. Every candle name and description is carefully written to evoke a feeling, a memory, or a little enchantment.

Alchemy.

With the vision revealed, the blending begins. I combine premium fragrance and essential oils to create evocative, one-of-a-kind scent compositions that capture the heart of each story. Every blend undergoes months of testing and design to ensure the perfect balance of fragrance, performance, and atmosphere.

Conjuration.

The final ritual is the pour. Using the perfected recipes from my candle grimoire, each candle is carefully hand-poured in small batches with intention and care. Once adorned and labeled, it joins the Moon & Glow collection, crafted to bring a little magic and comfort to your home.
